Una suma de catástrofes
This is the personal website of David Johnson Lee. I am a scholar of Latin American, U.S., and global history and international relations. I wrote a book on U.S.-Nicaraguan relations and global development, published by Cornell University Press. I’m based in Colorado, where I teach courses in Latin American, U.S., and global studies.
I also work as a translator of literary and academic works, and I study translation theory. My current focus is on texts in Spanish and Maya Languages from Guatemala and other Meso-American regions.
I teach Masters students in the Adams State MA program in US History, especially in topics related to US foreign policy, Latin American relations, immigration, borderlands, and political economy. Interested students can contact me using the contact form, or at dlee at adams dot edu.
